Would these options be doable?
  • Option to show date & time by default
  • When selecting / copying debug to clipboard, INCLUDE date and time
thanks

Include date and time when selected text is copied to the clipboard

The first option is doable. Before doing it please let me know if the following workaround works for you.

Use of raw log view. Log will be shown as you see it in a plain-text editor. That will let you see your timestamps. It works well for neatly written text logs, not so well for xml logs thought.
Raw mode is enabled and turned on by the following options:
<format>
  <view-options>
    <raw-view-allowed>yes</raw-view-allowed>
    <preferred-view>raw</preferred-view>
  </view-options>
</format>

What i ended up doing was including the time in the description through xslt. This way the time is always shown and is included in selection/copy.

I made a similar change to what you did but ended up reverting it because i was trying to copy text to paste other places but it included the date/time and in this case i only wanted my selection. So not sure you want to keep that change.
